QA & Troubleshooting

Common questions regarding fitment, capacity, and installation.

How do I know if I need to replace this cable or the actual suction fan motor? +

If your vacuum reports a suction error, we highly recommend opening the dustbin compartment and inspecting the wires first. If you see visible damage (such as pinched, exposed, or cleanly torn wires), replacing this cable will fix the issue. If the wires and connectors look perfect, the fan motor itself likely needs to be replaced.

Do I need a soldering iron to install this wire? +

Not at all! This is a complete Plug-and-Play wiring harness. Both ends have plastic terminal clips that simply snap into the corresponding ports on the motherboard and the fan motor.

Does it matter which end plugs into the motherboard and which end goes to the fan? +

The standard 4-pin connectors are keyed, meaning they are designed to only slide into the port in one specific direction. This foolproof design prevents you from plugging them in backward or upside down.

Will this fit my Coredy L900? +

No, it will not. This specific 4-pin harness is calibrated for the R-Series architecture. The L-Series and G-Series vacuums use different internal layouts and terminal sizes.

Why are there 4 different colored wires? +

The multiple wires handle different functions simultaneously: delivering power to the motor, grounding the connection, and transmitting smart control signals so the vacuum can automatically adjust its suction power (e.g., boosting suction on carpets). The color coding helps our factory and your DIY repair match the exact original specifications.
