Will this battery fit my Roomba 675 or 890? +

No. This is a SQUARE battery designed specifically for the newer i, e, and j series. Older models like the 600, 800, and 900 series use a long bar-shaped battery. Please check our store for the 500-900 series replacement battery instead.

What is the difference between this 3000mAh battery and my original one? +

The original OEM ABL-D1 battery is typically rated at 1800mAh. Our upgraded 3000mAh battery packs more high-density cells into the same size. This gives your Roomba a much larger energy reserve, allowing it to clean for a significantly longer duration before returning to the dock.

Will the higher capacity damage my vacuum? +

Absolutely not. The voltage remains identical to the original factory battery. The higher capacity (mAh) simply means it stores more energy, acting like a larger gas tank for your vacuum. It is 100% safe for your robot's electronics.

Which part numbers does this replace? +

This battery is a direct replacement for original iRobot part numbers ABL-D1, 4624864, ABL-D2, and 4INR19/66. If your old battery has any of these numbers printed on it, this will fit perfectly.

How do I install this battery? +

Flip your Roomba over and loosen the screw on the edge-sweeping brush to remove it. Then, loosen the screws holding the bottom cover. Remove the cover, pull out the old battery, and drop the new one in. Reattach the cover and the edge brush. The whole process takes about 3 minutes.
